The archive is ample, but here are some of my favorite past projects.

Having spent time working in agencies and in-house, across large design departments and on small teams, I’ve amassed a large and varied body of work over the years. I’ve run my own freelance business in two countries and have also taught and lectured on various aspects of Design.

A selection of illustrated pantone chips showcasing the brand colors selected as part of the identity design.
Some bold branded typography reading "Exhibit of the month" set against a leopard print graphic in shades of green with a bright colored illustration of a giraffe.
A printed carpark signpost against the backdrop of some trees, showing a brightly colored illustration of a penguin, the number three and the name "Percy".

Belfast Zoo
Brand Identity

Early on, as a junior design associate I had the dream opportunity to work on a rebranding effort for Belfast Zoological Gardens (locally called “The Zoo”.) It was one of my earliest professional design experiences.

Expertly guided by senior colleagues, I gained valuable exposure to the process of pitching, planning, designing and rolling out a rebranding campaign. The project covered everything from car park signage and on-site wayfinding to billboard adverts and business cards.

Was it Something I Said? TV Quiz Show

While employed at Mint Digital, a product design studio in London,UK, I had the pleasure of working with renowned British broadcaster, Channel 4. They were developing a comedy quiz show and wanted a digital experience for viewers to play along with while watching the weekly broadcast.

The game we created was designed to be played via X, formerly known as Twitter. It was the first time the platform had been used as a dedicated play-along companion for a TV show. Viewers could answer questions at the same time as the quiz show panelists, and the more they did so, the more bonus content they unlocked. Content included behind-the-scenes clips and exclusive GIFs from featured comedians.

Teaching Service Design at Ravensbourne Universtiy

A few years after completing my Masters in Service Design Innovation at London College of Communication, I was invited to become a visiting lecturer on the topic at Ravensbourne University.

I guided two cohorts of students through the practical application of Service Design skills and techniques within their design processes. Through my industry contacts I arranged in-studio experiences so students could shadow live design projects and coached them through their final dissertations. It was an extremely fulfilling experience.
